Washington

Andersen Construction

5601 6th Avenue S, Suite 550, Seattle, WA 98108

Two generations of the Andersen family carry on the legacy Andy Andersen left in the firm he established in 1950. David Andersen officially joined the firm in 1980 after completing the Construction Engineering Management Program at Oregon State University, yet he had already spent his summer years as a teen working for his father’s business. He has since grown the company to serve the healthcare, high-tech, and multifamily markets in addition to the industrial and retail sectors. Today he serves as Chairman of the Board. Like his father before him, Joel Andersen also grew up around construction in his grandfather’s firm. He now takes on the role of CEO, pouring his passion and energy for building with his team into transforming communities one building at a time. Joining them as president and COO is 25-year industry veteran Travis Baker who has been with the firm since 1999 and guides the company’s four regions in carrying out the Andersen vision.

Andersen Construction has built five Starbucks branches throughout Washington. The stores ranged from 1,400 to 3,200 square feet and were all built on a fast-paced schedule. Each store features local art and high-end finishes. They also require precise equipment installation, whether the project is a ground-up construction, a new building tenant improvement, or a renovation.

The restaurant chain T.G.I Friday’s tapped Hunzinger for the complete renovation of its Front Row Sports Grill at Miller Park on One Brewers Way in time for the Brewers’ season opener.
