HITT

469 El Camino Real, Suite 230, Santa Clara, CA 95050

HITT has been in the construction industry for 84 years. It performs work for a wide range of project types, including base building shells, complete owner/tenant fit-outs, and emergency work. The firm’s expertise lies in preconstruction, sustainable construction, and virtual construction. This expertise allows HITT to collaborate with building partners from the conception stage of a project to meet client goals while maintaining quality and remaining within budget and on schedule. HITT’s efforts have led to its ranking as one of the top 35 largest general contractors in America.

Cox Enterprises contracted HITT to renovate the office space in an occupied building. HITT was careful not to disturb the other tenants on the lower and upper floors while working on tenant improvements. In doing so, the firm protected existing finishes, planned noisy work, contained project dust, and coordinated building access for just-in-time deliveries. The existing perimeter offices and pantry were untouched while everything else was demolished for renovation. Cox Enterprises’ office now has new ceilings, wall finishes, and floor coverings. There are also new collaborative workspaces.
