Much like single-family residential homes, apartment and condominium interiors need an upgrade and remodel from time to time. However, remodeling can be challenging, with ever-changing construction trends and the difficulty of coordinating with multi-unit dwellings.

Our team gathered remodelers and contractors that have thorough experience in the apartment and condominium interior market and assessed these firms based on a set of criteria. The team considered awards, accolades, media presence, familiarity in the industry, and overall work quality. All of the remodelers and contractors on this list will be able to complete apartment and condo interior remodels to the satisfaction of even the most demanding clients.

If you are thinking about upgrading an apartment or condo interior, we recommend checking each builder’s license with the local licensing board, speaking to past clients, and using our bidding system to get competitive quotes from at least 3 contractors. Getting multiple bids is the best way to ensure you get a fair price and that bids include the complete scope of work.

Through the help of LDA Architects, the firm channeled a contemporary finish that is accomplished through design features that include a glass counter, mosaic backsplash and crown molding – all on top of a neutral and sophisticated atmosphere. These design choices make the residence a spectacular home and a testament to the firm’s workmanship.

S+H’s portfolio is also the darling of the local media, thanks to features from the Boston Magazine, Northshore Magazine, Boston Globe, Boston Design Guide, and Boston Common in 2018, as well as in several other local publications. This feat is much deserved by the firm, whose excellent work is exemplified in projects such as this modern condo interior renovation. This renovation is done in close collaboration with the owner, who requested specific hardware and material choices. Noticeably, the owner used often-overlooked concrete as one of the primary elements that dictated the modern style of the condo.

In addition, Feinmann has also been featured in local circulations from Boston Home, Boston Globe Home Design, Boston Globe, and New England Magazine.

Feinmann and their team of architects, designers, and master carpenters have emerged on top of this list thanks to their award-winning portfolio. Their kitchen condo renovation — as shown below — in Boston was honored with three awards for the best kitchen; a Gold PRISM Award, a Gold EM NARI Award, and a National NARI Award. This kitchen plays to the existing geometry making the long, narrow space an asset to create a glossy galley. Using the same footprint, they created a modern, streamlined look with white upper composite cabinets and contrasting lower cabinets in Tobacco glaze oak veneer to anchor the space. Finishing this space is a full-height backsplash and countertop in Caesarstone Organic White that provides a sense of continuity and calming visual palette.
