Clark Construction

EE Reed Construction

It also includes glass-front offices, conference rooms, and a coffee bar. The office is situated in the Kirby Collection, an upscale mixed-use project also built by EE Reed. The development was awarded a LEED Silver Certification and a 2018 ICE Award in the Commercial Category by the ABC Greater Houston. 


Executive Construction

Hensel Phelps

HITT Contracting Inc.

Structure Tone collaborated with TPG Architecture in the build-out of approximately 85,000 square feet of Class A office space that included four floors, two outdoor terraces, and basement storage. The playful vibe of ASCAP’s branding can be seen in unique details such as a guitar pick wall installation and a vinyl record display in the lounge.


Swinerton

Established in 1888, Swinerton is one of the oldest companies on this list. It was first formed by a young Swedish immigrant as a brick masonry and contracting business in Los Angeles. Pushing through the Great Depression and the wars, the company went on to build iconic projects in California and the rest of the nation. Some of the company’s notable projects are San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Square, Levi’s Plaza, the Gap Worldwide Headquarters, and the Fairmont Hotel. Many other Swinerton projects have claimed a spot on the National Register of Historic Places and other architectural preservation lists.

Aside from its rich contribution to many metro skylines, Swinerton has also earned an award-winning reputation. From ENR and AGC Awards for construction excellence to numerous LEED-certified projects and company safety awards, Swinerton has continuously proven its expertise in the commercial building industry. 

One of Swinerton’s interior/tenant improvement projects earned a 2018 Best Project award from ENR Northwest for its innovative and expert design and construction. The client, Expensify, chose the historic First National Bank building in Portland to house its new office. Due to the building being registered on the National Register of Historic Places, its exterior is not allowed to be modified. Swinerton and ZGF Architects rose to the challenge of creating a modern structure and layout within the bank to achieve the perfect blend of old and new.  A steel-structure tower with box-like conference rooms that cantilevered off of two columns was meticulously built with precision and accuracy by Swinerton. The project was completed within a tight 17-week schedule with a clean safety record of more than 20,000 work hours.

O’Neil built the 147,000 S.F. seven-story Class A office building and outfitted the headquarters building’s owner in it. The Weitz Company is the sixth oldest Architectural/Engineering/Construction firm in the country. Over the course of 160 years, the firm has developed a reputation for being innovative, and constantly updates its construction, general contracting, and tenant improvement processes.
