One of Dickson Development’s finest remodels is the featured Princeton residence renovation. With a revamped great room and contemporary designs,  the remodel provides a comfortable, new classic aesthetic. The great room includes a vintage combination of furniture from white couches, leather seats, and mahogany furniture. With the numerous windows, the home gets a lot of natural light, creating a more vibrant place in the house.


Led by president Richard Dickson, the firm has completed over 400 homes and more than 100 renovations as beautiful as this. Established in 1972, the firm continues to create long-lasting relationships with its clients and maintain the level of quality it produces for its projects. Hintz General Contracting

Its projects range from new home construction to historic renovations and to remodeling. This feature project is a basement transformation that includes a custom bar, tin ceiling, and antique lighting. The entire setting of the basement takes after a classic bar using wooden furniture and brick walls. The traditional layout provides a vintage aesthetic that can provide an intimate or social setting. 


Lasley Brahaney Architecture + Construction

In 2020, Build Magazine recognized Lasley Brahaney as the Best Residential Design-Build Firm 2020. The firm’s attention to open communication has led to a transparent process, giving the client full access to project costs, schedules and everyone on the project team. As a design-build firm, Lasley Brahaney’s team includes both architects and a construction team under the same roof. This team is client-centered from initial consultations to schematic designs and budget discussions. The firm also offers a one-year warranty for each renovation, addition, or new construction and a detailed summary of the project.


The Lasley Brahaney team designed and renovated a farmhouse, incorporating a mix of traditional and contemporary, in the Princeton, New Jersey area. As pictured above, they adapted the farmhouse to modern life for a young family while maintaining the original charm of the residence. The entire project is a two-part renovation that tackled the breezeway/mudroom, bedroom, kitchen, and living room.


Material Design Build

Situated in Beaver Brook, the firm worked alongside its subcontractors to create a building that would serve as a “bunkhouse.” Materials the firm used in building the home include a mix of rustic and refined. These materials are regionally sourced, and furniture coming from numerous places like Pennsylvania and Singer Sewing Machine Factory. Including energy-efficient technologies, the house has a unique heating system and currently hosts up to 25 people. Collaborators include Baukraft, American Joinery, and Recycling the Past.


Material Design Build was established in 2009 by George Akers and Armin Zomorodi. Prior to the firm’s formation, George and Armin completed numerous historical projects. Today, the firm’s designs are guided by an emphasis on material quality and an in-depth understanding of fabrication and construction. The firm adapts to the needs of the clients and sees each project through from start to finish. 


Meisenbacher Homes

Meisenbacher Homes is a licensed builder in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with plans to be building in South Carolina soon. Energy-efficient features are prominent in many of its projects, aiming to offer more environmentally friendly houses. Featured is a conventional home that includes classic wooden furniture that provides a vintage aesthetic.


It offers a simply designed place, focusing on creating a comfortable environment. Traditional artwork decorate the home and modern designed couches in the middle of the room. The design extends to the kitchen, located in front of the dining area with white cabinetry and marble countertops.


Pinneo Construction
