Kadean

ARCO National Construction Company

ARCO’s unique design-build approach provides clients with complete, turnkey project delivery from site selection to building turnover.

The firm has completed over 4,200 projects across 48 states spanning all industry types including industrial, cold storage and food facilities, commercial/specialty, and tenant improvements. Featured is a 565,027 SF distribution facility in the greater Kansas City region for repeat client, Block Real Estate Services. The facility is located within the Lenexa Logistics Centre – a 117-acre Class A industrial park in which ARCO and Block have partnered to complete more than 3 million square feet of space. The facility features 56 dock positions, 36’ clear height, and a tilt-up concrete exterior. Additionally, the project included approximately 250,000 CY of rock blasting and crushing. ARCO is also currently building a 200,000 SF distribution facility within the park for end-user, MSI.


Crossland Construction

Crossland Construction has been in business since 1977 and maintains associations with vital industry organizations like the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). It also prides itself on its national rankings in a variety of publications like the Engineering News-Record and Building Design + Construction. The former named it the 66th company on its Top 400 Contractors list; the latter named it 42nd on its Top 160 Contractors list. Crossland’s Kansas City division holds the company record in terms of a number of projects, which includes the previous and current records for the largest industrial project to date. The project below best embodies the firm’s talent and expertise. 

Designed and constructed for Northland Park, this 548,560-square-foot project was completed within a five-month timeframe. This new warehouse is the largest to date at the park and contains over 42 dock positions, four drive-in docks, and 130 trailer stalls. The company’s team collaborated with the professionals at studioNorth Architecture.


Brinkmann Constructors

Brinkmann Constructors operates out of several offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, and Richmond. The firm has secured a national presence for itself and offers its clients a superb range of commercial general contracting work. In terms of design, the firm can take on any project regardless of scale or complexity. The firm’s portfolio showcases several great warehouses, multifamily, and senior living projects. It has also worked on multiple government, healthcare, office, hospitality, and automotive spaces. 

The firm is the product of the vision of its founder and namesake, Bob Brinkmann. He graduated from the  University of Missouri-Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science & Technology) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His experience includes serving on several boards, including Junior Achievement of Mississippi Valley, Missouri University of Science & Technology, the Regional Business Council, and the St. Louis Police Foundation. 


Fogel-Anderson Construction Co.

With over a hundred years worth of industry experience, Fogel-Anderson Construction is one of the oldest firms on this list. It provides prospective clients with a complete and comprehensive range of commercial design and general contracting work. The firm is currently led by Greg Harrelson, who also serves as the company’s preconstruction leader. He draws inspiration from over three decades of industry experience. That experience includes years working as a field superintendent, as well as an estimator. He makes sure that each of the company’s projects receives the benefit of his experience. Under his watchful eye, the firm has put together an impressive portfolio.

This project was completed for Belfonte Dairy Foods, and the building serves as the company’s headquarters and distribution center. The firm’s team had to work on over 10,800 square feet for its expansion and 47,700 square feet for its main structure.
