Founded by brothers Matt and Andrew in 1996, brother Paul and father Mark would soon climb aboard, and AMEK would quickly become an award-winning Twin Cities remodeler. Wise Design & Remodel is a Minneapolis-based residential design-build general contractor. The owner, Philip Hide, and his team are renowned for remodels, such as well-crafted kitchens, finished basements, master baths, and additions. The company also specializes in exterior projects and renovations for older homes. Philip holds a Minnesota general contractors license and got his start in the building trades at 18 in his father’s plumbing and heating business in North London.
