Tall windows and skylights illuminate this pristine white bathroom. The corner placement of the asymmetric freestanding tub gives it a great view of the surrounding foliage. Beside it, a gray and white marble wall accentuates the glass-enclosed shower, complementing the stainless steel shower panel. The double vanity features glossy white drawers below the under-mount sinks and a wide LED-lit mirror above. A half-wall provides additional privacy between the toilet and the door and doubles as a supply shelf. The gray tile flooring provides good contrast throughout the space. This is one of the three bathrooms that Green Bay remodeled in this home.

Home Quality Remodeling

1070 Concord Ave. Suite #125, Concord, CA 94520

Since 2004, Home Quality Remodeling (HQR) has completed over 500 remodeling projects across the East and South Bay. CEO Ron Poliker—who previously worked as project manager for some of the largest construction companies in California—leads the firm’s project managers and designers who have remodeled some of the oldest homes in the Bay Area.

HQR rebuilt this 100-year-old home in Oakland from the foundation to the electrical wirings in a span of six months. The arched porch beneath the sweeping central gable opens to a flowing first-floor layout in the same beige tone. A marble fireplace anchors the living room adjacent to the sunlit home office. Through a trimmed opening is the six-seater glass-table plush-chair dining room. Bar stools along the gray quartz-top center kitchen island provide more eat-in space. White cabinets and marble tile backsplash frame the stainless steel appliances. On the second floor is the relaxing master bedroom. More marble lines the double vanity and the walls of the freestanding tub, glass-encased shower master bath atop white hex tile flooring. There’s also a spacious laundry room on the first floor. A wooden deck leads down to more lounge space in the spacious backyard.
