The owners wanted modern upgrades and amenities to match and update their old home in the same location. The challenge for the firm was how to work with the poor soil conditions and a constrained jobsite, but Earthtone managed to successfully complete the home with a guest studio, pool, and terraces.

Harkey Construction, Inc.

The home now includes all new custom medium tone shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances, an undermount sink, granite countertops, medium tone hardwood floor, wood beams and track lighting in the kitchen. The family room and all bathrooms were also updated to have hardwood flooring and wood beams throughout the home. The bathrooms, including a powder room, were also completely remodeled to include undermount sinks, all new shaker cabinetry, granite tops, and ceramic tile. 


Sawyer Construction

Ken Sawyer founded Sawyer Construction in 1990 with the goal of building custom homes in Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties. The firm is owned and led by Ken Sawyer and his son, Micah Sawyer. The firm stayed with the original board and batten siding on the home. The only addition to the original structure was the sunroom, which has an earthen mud floor that collects and radiates heat throughout the house.  The interior was completely reworked with plaster walls, concrete countertops, radiant floors, and furniture style cabinetry. 


Holly & Associates
