Depicted above is one of the firm’s best projects. For this project, the firm’s team opted for various Tuscan-inspired elements. Our editorial team especially loved the unique candle chandelier and distinctive fixtures. We were also impressed by the built-in shelves and clean finishes. 

Intelligent Construction

Founded in 2004, Intelligent Construction is a general contracting and construction management firm that specializes in the construction, renovation, and interior design of both commercial and residential spaces. The firm has worked on countless condominium units. The firm’s team uses only the latest industry techniques and practices, which have allowed it to complete all of its projects within the agreed-upon budget and schedules. The firm is also attractive to many for its competitive pricing in addition to its hand-picked team of high-end designers and subcontractors. Together, these professionals take the time to understand a client’s needs and issues.

For this space, the firm’s team provided elegant vaulted ceilings coupled with various other European-inspired finishes. It also installed an excellent custom fireplace, large curved windows and entryways, and moulded walls. 

Gables Construction Group

From single-family homes to commercial buildings, Gables provides its client with a full and comprehensive range of residential remodeling and construction services. The firm is known for its excellent interiors and exteriors. It extends its services throughout South Florida and draws inspiration from nearly four decades of industry experience. Gables Construction Group commits itself to the highest standards. At the firm’s helm are Alberto Diaz and Marisol Arboleda-Diaz, who are both licensed professionals and assure homeowners that they are involved every step of the way. Under their leadership, the firm has worked on a wide range of project types including private residences, estates, commercial projects, and historic rehabilitation.

Depicted above is one of the firm’s best pieces of work. For this project, our editorial team was very impressed by the timeless Spanish Colonial elements. We loved the exposed beam work, paneled flooring, and all the intricate details.

Torre Construction & Development

Otherwise known as TC&D, Torre Construction & Development upholds the highest standards and specializes in all aspects of the building process from start to finish. The firm has several LEED-certified professionals on its team, assuring its clients that all of its homes and spaces are completed with various sustainability practices. The firm takes the time to approach each of its projects with highly personalized methods. The firm is led by Venny Torre, a professional with over three decades of industry experience. He has worked in every aspect of the construction and real estate development markets throughout South Florida. 

The project featured here shows the firm’s work on its Coral Gables Mediterranean project. It is a two-story residence and features great European architecture. The firm’s team worked closely with this project’s owners throughout the entire process and helped them choose the best finishes and materials for its interiors and exteriors. Some other details we loved include its  Cuban tiles, full clay barrel roof tiles, old Chicago brick, and hand-forged wrought iron railings. 

Paradise City Interior Remodeling & Design

Paradise City Interior Remodeling extends its services throughout Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Hollywood Beach, Miami Beach, Golden Beach and offers a complete and comprehensive range of services. The firm is led by Dmitriy Skorozhenko, a master builder and designer who oversees a great team of craftsmen, craftswomen, architects, designers, and engineers. Together they take a design-build approach that allows them to manage every aspect of a process from inception to completion. This firm has been in business for the greater part of nearly two decades and it has completed over 100 projects. 

The kitchen above showcases Paradise City’s expertise in modern and contemporary themes. We loved its lighting and unique fixtures. There are also some great custom cabinets, clean tiled flooring, and various minimalist finishes. 

L&H Partners Construction

420 S Dixie Highway,  Suite 2M, Coral Gables, FL 33146

Established in 1991, L&H Partners Construction specializes in both residential and commercial projects. The firm takes great pride in the solid reputation it has established for itself throughout Miami and it has had the opportunity to work in some of the most sought-after communities in southern Florida. The firm is overseen by its founders: entrepreneur civil engineer Jad N. Lahoud, general contractor Nazih B. Hardan, and operations expert Mary T. Kayal. Aside from its single-family homes, the firm has also built a stellar range of high-rise, multifamily, hotel, healthcare, luxury homes, private condos, offices, restaurants, and places of worship. Its work has been featured in various publications like Luxe Interiors + Design, The Washington Post, and On Design. 

The firm’s work is recognizable thanks to a penchant for straight lines and contemporary finishes. The firm often employs modern and innovative approaches to its spaces resulting in crisp details and awesome renderings. 

Stambul Construction Company

Stambul Construction Company is the brainchild of its directors Luis Rojas and Daniel Pena-Giraldi. Rojas is experienced in marketing commercial properties such as apartment buildings, offices, and industrial facilities and is a licensed professional builder. He is also affiliated with various humanitarian foundations, enabling the firm to give back to its community. Pena-Giraldi, on the other hand, is a licensed general contractor with a Master of Finance concentrating in International Business and an attorney member of the New York State Bar. He manages the firm’s acquisitions of commercial and residential land or buildings. Under their joint vision, the firm has become a trailblazer in both the area’s residential and commercial markets. They are especially celebrated for their great restaurants and condominium units. Its expertise can best be seen in the photo below.

Overlooking the nearby waters, this space makes use of large floor-to-ceiling windows. A modern palette of neutral colors like taupe, gray, black, and white brings in a luxurious feel to the open floor space. Wood accents are also utilized across the living room and dining room. 

J Romano Group

J Romano Group builds spaces that bring casual, luxury and elegance together. Their work is characterized by airy, open space, combining those spaces with rustic finishes, and a modern touch. The firm is a family-owned and operated company that has secured a solid reputation for its excellent level of professionalism and attention to detail. The company’s portfolio showcases its previous work in exclusive Miami neighborhoods and condominiums, including Bal Harbour and South Beach. The firm’s specialty in luxury has also secured them a spot on Luxe Magazine’s 2021 Gold List. At its helm are its founders, Juan Romano and Belkis Sosa. Romano first got a glimpse into the industry working as a laborer and then project manager in several construction companies. He holds a degree in construction from a university in Peru and is a certified general contractor in Florida. Sosa, on the other hand, oversees the business aspect of the firm as a Business Graduate from the University of Ohio.

Under their leadership, the company has worked on a wide range of designs. One of our favorites from its portfolio would have to be their work on a Biscayne Beach home, featured in the photo above. For this living area, the team completely remodeled the unit giving it a brand new kitchen, bathrooms and an open concept floor plan. We loved its granite surfaces and its clean minimalist touches and details. J Romano Group created a space that makes you excited to come home.

Scheer Constructions

Scheer Constructions is regarded as one of the leading firms in the area and has been in business since 2004. It is fully licensed and insured and can take on projects regardless of size or scale. The firm offers its clients a complete range of services that encompass both the commercial and residential sectors. It describes itself as a sort of “one-stop-shop” for its clients, lessening the challenge for them in terms of outsourcing for additional subcontractors. The firm has worked on countless ground-up construction projects as well as various extensive renovations, home additions, and minor remodels. Our team was highly impressed by its unique specialty rooms and the various sustainability practices it employs. 

Uniquely, the firm also provides great custom metal projects and plasma cutting services. Its portfolio also provides excellent metal paneling. These features enabled the firm to become known for its outstanding craft and its attention to detail. 

Unique Construction

Established in 2011, Unique Construction is an award-winning home remodeling company best known for its beautiful, functional designs, its building capability, and its remodeling services. The firm is operated by a team of experienced and talented professionals who work together tirelessly to assist their clients from start to finish. The firm maintains affiliations with industry organizations like the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and uses the latest technology and techniques. The Unique design team also creates 3-D computer renderings to give its clients accurate proposals. We loved the firm’s attention to detail and were impressed by its windows, doors, and material choices. 

The project above is a great example of its expertise. For this home makeover, the firm opted for various southwestern design elements. It now features wood plank tiles, various decorative wood trusses, and uniquely crafted chandeliers. 

Newport Property Construction

Regarded as one of the area’s leading construction and remodeling firms, Newport Property Construction takes pride in what it deems its “finer” touches when it comes to its projects. It is well-versed in the ins and outs of every phase of construction and has extensive knowledge of all of Florida. The firm also has designers, architects, project managers, construction staff, and support personnel to maximize its design-build approach. Depicted above is its work on its Bay Road residence project. Spanning 20,000 square feet, this home was completed in collaboration with Choeff + Levy back in 2012. It features a great modern tropical theme and offers its owners stellar, uninterrupted Biscayne Bay and skyline views. Some of its great elements include its coral rock, white oak floors, and Zen gardens, in addition to its breathtaking terraces, heated pool, and home theater.

At its helm is its namesake Jeffrey R. Rose, a professional who started out as a real estate broker in the commercial and residential markets. Eventually, Mr. Rose would realize his love for construction and renovation through his real estate endeavors. Under his supervision, the firm offers a highly hands-on approach to each of its projects and emphasizes the importance of communicating with its clients throughout the entire process. All of the firm’s projects receive the benefit of his expertise and talents.
