Alpha Warranty features a contemporary design, in addition to clean finishes, rustic accents, and natural details.

With over six decades of industry experience, EDA has expertise in every phase and aspect of the architectural process. It operates out of its office in Salt Lake City and has an affinity for modernism. The firm has worked for some of the area’s most prestigious brands and has completed various projects across the Intermountain West. The firm is well regarded for its innovative solutions and unique methods, which have resulted in timeless work. It also makes use of local and energy-efficient materials. 

The project shown here is the company’s work for Lucid Software. The building is located in South Jordan and spans 85,080 square feet. The project serves as the brand’s corporate headquarters and includes collaborative spaces, new offices, and unique features like a rock climbing wall. Inside, there are also break-out spaces and various lounges. 

MHTN Architects

Shown here is an example of the firm’s work, an extensive renovation of the Zions Bank Tower. Located in Salt Lake City, this project spans over 280,000 square feet. The renovation replaced the building’s original copper cladding with stone and glass. New elements also include a curtain-wall system and revamped exteriors. 

JRCA Architects, A Galloway Company

Since its establishment, the firm has been lauded with multiple awards and has become one of Utah’s most respected architecture and interior design firms. It utilizes a client-centered approach and has curated a stellar portfolio composed of government, commercial, municipal, and healthcare facility design projects.

Showcased here is one of our editorial team’s favorite projects from the company’s portfolio. The West Jordan Public Works project. In response to continued growth, the City of West Jordan retained JRCA Architects to complete a needs assessment and master plan for the city’s public works departments and later awarded the next phase of the project including design and construction management. The 122,456 sf project was completed in 2018.

Bott Pantone Architects

The project shown was completed in Kaysville in 2020 for Fusion Imaging, a premier graphics company. The building spans nearly 70,000 square feet. For this project, the SAA team developed all-new interiors and modern designs. It employed reclaimed wood, concrete, exposed steel, wall graphics, and wall and ceiling panels.

LMnt Architecture

Founded in 2012, LMnt Architecture is an award-winning firm that has completed projects throughout Utah, California, Arizona, and Idaho. With a range of work spanning healthcare, education, commercial and residential projects, the multidisciplinary team is composed of experienced architects and LEED-accredited professionals. Their extensive services include comprehensive feasibility studies, master planning, and landscape architecture, with a particular emphasis on sustainability methods that ensure environmentally friendly and highly efficient spaces. 

Showcased here is the firm’s work for the Q90 Headquarters. It is a three-story structure that spans roughly 9,770 square feet. For this project, the firm’s team opted for steel frames with a masonry exterior to enhance the historic feel. 

BGW Architects

BGW Architects has been in business since 1996 and provides a complete range of design and construction management services. It specializes in commercial spaces. Since its establishment, it has worked on various performing arts centers, schools, corporate offices, and religious spaces. The firm has also collaborated with non-profit organizations. The firm is proud to be employee-owned and has worked across 47 states and three countries. Composed of a team of ten experienced architects and a trained support group of 20 professionals, BGW Architects collaborates closely with its general contractors throughout the process to overcome any challenges that may arise during construction.

The firm is an expert in value engineering and is noted for minimizing costs. It sources most of its products and furnishings from Cornerstone Building Supply, allowing it to get factory-direct rates.

Featured here is the project’s design for Starbucks and Potbelly in a strip mall in Sandy, Utah. Natural materials like wood and stone are paired with metal to create and sleek and contemporary look.

It has worked throughout the Mountain West and applied its talent to commercial, religious, educational, and industrial facilities. The firm is led by its principal and architect, Mark Hilles. He offers clients his in-depth experience in every aspect of the process. His vision and love for innovative approaches have enabled the company to garner various distinctions since its inception. 

The photo depicts the firm’s work for Kier Property Management. For this project, the firm made use of large, floor-to-ceiling windows to let in large amounts of ambient light. It also employed warm wood finishes and transitional elements.
